So, if you guys want, feel free to do this! :)

→ What song are you currently addicted to?
I stumbled on 'Kiss Me, Kill Me' by Mest recently, and have been listening to it nearly non-stop since <3 I'm tempted to make a Cleggborne vid to it, myself...

→ What's your favourite breed of dog?
Labradors, just like my own dog *hugs him* Because he's just adorable!

→ What’s the latest movie film you watched?
Monty Python & the Holy Grail - has to be one of the most hilarious films EVER! When my sisters and I watched it the first time, we were just like "o_O" but then we couldn't stop laughing at how completely random it was.

→ What is the one skill you wish you had?
I really wish I knew how to use Sony Vegas - I've seen so many videos made with it that are just so totally amazing and make my own pale into insignificance, but whenever I see the format my mind just blanks (it looks so complicated!)

→ What’s your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
At the moment, Lolitics! :D In particular I'm a HUGE fan of Cleggborne, even though I do love Clameron and Burnballs ♥ I've also just started getting into Axis Powers Hetalia and Sherlock, both of which have quickly become two of my favourite shows.

→ What's your favourite musical instrument?
Piano - all I can play is the chorus of 'My Heart Will Go On' and scales, but when it comes to listening you can't really beat piano music.

→ What web sites do you always visit when you go online?
Hotmail, Twitter, Livejournal, Deviantart, youtube, and now Facebook

→ What was the last thing you bought?
The laptop that I'm typing this one! :D

→ Favourite time of day?
Late evening, when everyone in my family just unwinds after dinner - whether through watching TV, being on the computer or talking amongst ourselves.

→ What's the last thing that made you happy?
Wow, this is a tough one :/ Umm... laughing with my family at X Factor, I suppose. That was fun!

→ Do you want to learn another language?
Yes! :D I can understand basic French (I have a French aunt and half-French cousins) and a few words from other languages, but I'd really love to be fluent.

→ Five things you can’t live without.
My family, my iPod (or any type of music player, really), my book collection, my friends, an internet connection (I feel ashamed to admit to that last one, as I probably could live without it. But if I had the choice, I wouldn't give it up)

Questions asked by [info]secretshipper. Because Nick Clegg is a slut

1. When did you discover slash fiction, and what was your initial reaction?

I think I first properly discovered slash fiction when I entered the Merlin fandom. I'd known about it previously from other fandoms (eg. Harry Potter) but had ignored it until then. Upon discovering Merlin slash, I was at first a little weirded out, but eventually I ended up reading so much that I grew comfortable with it, and then began to actively enjoy it. I began to squee over slashy parts in Merlin episodes, and then started noticing slash pairings in other fandoms (eg. Valjean/Javert in Les Miserables, Thornclaw/Spiderleg in Warriors).

The exception was Sherlock Holmes. When I first read them, the books gave me the firm impression that Holmes and Watson were clearly in love, and I still ship them heavily to this day.

2. Do you consider any one book to be your favourite, and why?

I'm a bibliophile. From the age of seven to about twelve, I pretty much worshipped the Harry Potter books. Then I read 'The Sight' by David Clement-Davies and 'The Lost World' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, both of which are still top favourites of mine. As I grew older I added more collections to my favourites list, including the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, Sherlock Holmes, The Shapeshifter series by Ali Sparkes, Les Miserables, and many more. I'm unable to choose between them, because they are all tell such amazing, wonderful stories.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, alive or dead, who would it be and what would you ask them?

...this is probably the toughest question here. I'd dearly love to meet Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and discuss his spiritual beliefs (as well as the obvious question of whether Holmes and Watson were lovers or not).

4. What is your favourite non-alcoholic drink?

I'm not a big fan of alcohol to begin with, so that's good :) I might have to go with caramel milkshake, like the ones they have in Australia, which are rich and creamy and sooo good to drink on a hot day...

5. Is there any piece of music that makes you cry no matter if you are happy or sad?

There's two songs in particular that never fail to make me cry. The first is 'Bring Him Home' from Les Miserables. I always end up in crying after listening to it - which is why, even though it's on my ipod, I barely listen to it in public. It's just so beautiful. The second is 'The Prayer' by... I'm not sure. But it was my Grandma's funeral song, and it reminds me so strongly of her that I can't listen to it without ending up in floods of tears.

Two songs that I listen to often, and always effect me emotionally, are 'Run' by Snow Patrol and 'Shattered' by Trading Yesterday.

First Lolitcal Dream!
I had my first dream about lolitics last night! :D

Not that it was very impressive. It just involved me and one of my friends skipping around this palace, looking for politicians to get their autographs.

First was Nick, who was very kind and all "Sure, here you go!"

Then was DCam, who was very busy dealing with papparazi. But I begged him, and so he quickly scribbled his signature down.

And then, it was Gids. This was the weirdest part. I opened a door and he was dancing on a four-poster bed, and his hair was blond. And he was all "PARR-TEEEE!!!" and hyper.

Afterwards, me and said friend were squeeing over the autographs we'd collected (which is weird, because my friend is a) not interested in p/lolitics and b) a very non-squeeing type). This is when I woke up.

So, yeah, that was my first lolitics dream.

Two Kurt/Finn Fanfic Ideas Bugging Me
I don't know how it happened, but in the last few days I've suddenly gone on a huge Glee kick. And I've now come up with two Kurt/Finn fanfic ideas that I'm itching to write - one involves bodyswapping, which I've written many times before; the other mpreg, which I've never written before.

The BodySwapping Idea
Set some time after New Directions wins Sectionals, and Kurt still has a crush on Finn. Finn admits to Kurt that he wants to be someone else right now, after the whole Quinn fiasco, Kurt sympathizes with him, and the next day they wake to find that they've switched bodies. Kurt-as-Finn has to suddenly deal with running a football team, being pushed to the front of Glee numbers and Rachael, while Finn-as-Kurt finds himself alienated as the school's resident gay guy. Of course, having to spend so much time with each other leads to certain feelings coming out.
I came up with this just because I love bodyswap fanfics, and I like the idea of writing a romantically-driven one as opposed to the simply-humorous ones I usually write.

The MPreg Idea
A twist on Kurt's statement "Well, at least I'll never get anyone knocked up."
Finn and Kurt get drunk and end up sleeping together. The morning after, feeling extremely embarrassed, they decide never to mention the 'incident' again. But things don't go so smoothly, resulting in Finn becoming pregnant with Kurt as the father. Not exactly going to go down well at McKinley High, is it?
This idea was heavily inspired by a Jared/Jensen mpreg fanfic I read, I just thought, well, Finn was so devoted to Quinn's baby that it would be nice if he had one of his one... this idea soon followed.

Writer's Block: Secret song
What's the most embarrassing CD or track in your music library? How often do you listen to it? Do you share it with your friends or keep it to yourself?

The most embarrassing CD in my music in my library? That's pretty much definitly my Kim Possible album - I bought it for 50p a year or so ago, just for fun.

And I must say, it's actually got some great songs on it (I especially love Could It Be). But, yeah, it's Kim Possible, so I try to keep the CD cover hidden if I let anyone listen to my iPod with me.

Writer's Block: One last question ...
If you could select one person from history and ask them a question to which they had to reply with an honest answer, who would you select, and what would you ask them?

I'd love to ask Sir Arthur Conan Doyle about the truth behind Holmes and Watson's relationship, but it'd probably go like this:

Me: So, Sir Conan Doyle, it's wonderful to finally meet you.

Doyle: Thank you, I suppose.

Me: So, there have been many rumours circulating regarding the true relationship between Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. As their creator, I ask you this one question - where Holmes and Watson really more than just good friends?

Doyle: Oh, is that the time? Sorry, I have to go.

Writer's Block: Film therapy
Are there any movies you watch when you're feeling anxious or depressed? If so, what are they, and what about them calms you down and/or lifts your spirits?

If I'm feeling down, I usually watch a Disney film - they're such a part of my childhood that they comfort me hugely. Either that, or a light-hearted romcom like Bewitched or What Happens In Vegas, something that I can laugh at.
